DIGITAL CAMERAS - OWNING AND USING
Photograph Storage and Sharing
Storage on CD's. Sharing through CD's:
Part of the 'beauty' of a digital camera is the ability to store your photographs on CD's, which then also gives rise to your ability to share very large numbers of your high-resolution (or any resolution) photographs by means of sharing them copied onto Compact Disks ("CD's").
I still find it amazing the number of photos that I can "burn" - that-is, copy onto - a single CD that I might pay between 10 cents (after manufacturer's rebate) and 35 cents for!  Those who have older computers that have only cd-roms, as opposed to CD burners, can still view a delightful, high-resolution, high-quality slide show on their computer monitor if they have been the recipients of a photo-CD from someone who has both a digital camera and a CD burner.
And while emailing your photos still remains a quick, effective and perhaps exciting way to share your photos, they must be downsized (both in terms of actual physical size and also in terms of resolution, or photo quality) AND IT IS A PLEASURE to view them, full-size and full-resoltion, on a CD slide show!
For those who have a computer without a working CD burner, or perhaps wish to either:
add a second CD burner; and/or
upgrade from a slower CD burner,
we offer these products.  CD's are relatively small, very light, inexpensive and generally hold up well when mailed to others (e.g. friends and family - as well as professional and other uses).
Additionally, CD burners offer the opportunity to organize your computer's photos using CD's both to file your photos, and for file storage - while keeping your hard drive space free for other uses.
ADDING A SECOND HARD DRIVE:  Another means of increasing your abilities to store your photos in an organized way (without filling up the hard drive that you have your operating system on) would be by adding a second hard drive.  I did this and used my new, larger, faster and quieter hard drive for my operating system and programs.   My pre-existing hard drive then became a large location in my computer for photo storage and organization.
